Joe Nall 2003

Welcome to Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff, South Carolina and our 5th consecutive year of covering the largest Fly-In in the world.  2003 saw 540 registered pilots with over 600 gorgeous model aircraft. There were 5 flight lines with 5 or 6 models waiting to fly at each one.  The daily flying lasted from early morning until nightfall.  In addition to the model action we were entertained by 3 different full-size air show presentations; Matt Chapman and Mike Mancuso wowed us with incredible and seemingly impossible aerobatics and, for the first time ever at Joe Nall, there were 4 AT-6s which presented a superb formation aerobatics show culminating in the Missing Man Formation in honor of Mr. Joe Nall.  In addition to all the action, you'll get to join us for the biggest barbecue in the modeling world which fed 1000 hungry modelers.
